Only for vehicles with movement on all four wheels or equipped with anti-skid chains, the roads Karvouna-Troodos, Platron-Troodos, and Prodromou-Troodos remain open due to slippery road.
According to the morning information of the Police, landslides of rocks and stones have occurred in various places on the road Potamitissa-Kato Mylos, while landslides of stones and volumes of soil have occurred in the roads Kyperountas-Dymes and Agrou-Agios Theodoros.
The highways and the road network of the urban areas are not particularly problematic in the morning, however due to the rain that occurred during the night, the road in some places may be slippery.
The Police recommends special attention to those who travel on the road network, while the drivers of vehicles are called to move at a safe, low speed and to maintain a safe distance from oncoming vehicles.
It is pointed out that the situation on the road network is changing due to the prevailing winter conditions. The public is urged to be informed about the situation on the road network before their movements, through the announcements of the Police.
