Two unmanned aerial vehicles moving in the direction of the British Bases in Akrotiri were promptly intercepted, Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis said in a post on X.

According to the Spokesperson's post, at 13.10 on Monday, two unmanned aerial vehicles moving in the direction of the British Bases in Akrotiri were dealt with in a timely manner.

Earlier, around noon on Monday, sirens sounded in the Akrotiri area, and according to information, warplanes were seen taking off.
