A low pressure system centered over the Black Sea is moving northeast and will temporarily affect the area. Dense dust will be observed in the atmosphere until noon.
In effect until 4 pm is a yellow warning for very strong to gusty winds of force 6-7 Beaufort accompanied by gusts of force up to 9-10 Beaufort.
Today, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local rains and isolated storms, as well as snow in the higher mountains. In the afternoon, the phenomena will be limited and weaken. The winds will blow mainly southwest to west, strong to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort and locally in the windward to strong, 6 to 7 Beaufort with gusts that may reach 9 to 10 Beaufort. The sea will be up to very wavy and locally in the windward to stormy. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees in the interior and on the coast and to 6 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated rain, mainly in the western half of the island. Snow or sleet may fall in the higher mountains. Winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort and locally on the coast up to very strong, 5 to 6 Beaufort. The sea will be up to very wavy, however in the south and east it will gradually become wavy. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees inland, around 13 on the west and north coasts, around 11 on the rest of the coasts and to 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost may form locally.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, locally increased cloudiness will be observed at times.
The temperature will gradually rise until Saturday to hover above average climatic values.
