The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for isolated strong storms, which are expected to affect mainly the mountainous and inland areas on Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 17:00 pm, today.
According to the warning, hail is likely to fall during the storm, while the intensity of the rain is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
Citizens are urged to be particularly careful, as problems may arise in outdoor activities, especially in exposed areas such as mountains, forests and plains.
