Yellow Warning for rain and storms – When does it come into effect?

The Meteorology Department issued a Yellow Warning for rain and storms.

A new disturbance is expected to affect the island with rain and isolated storms. The warning will be in effect from 10 tonight until 5 pm Saturday.

A combination of rain and isolated storms will affect the island at times, initially the western parts and progressively the remaining areas of the island.
