The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures.
The warning will be in effect from 11am. until 5 p.m. of Thursday (18/7).

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be locally increased clouds in the afternoon and early afternoon. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally upwind to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be up to a little rough and locally a little rough. The temperature will rise to 42 degrees in the interior, to 33 in the west, around 36 on the rest of the coast and to 32 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, weak and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 24 degrees in the interior and the western coasts, around 25 on the rest of the coasts and to 21 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear, however, in the afternoon and early afternoon there will be locally increased cloudiness, which cannot be ruled out to give isolated rains, in the mountains.
The temperature will mark a small rise on Friday, to remain above the average climatic values, while the weekend is not expected to mark an appreciable change.
