A robbery occurred early Monday morning at a bakery in the Kamares area of Larnaca, where five hooded robbers allegedly stole 350 euros from the cash register, according to the police report.
As reported by Christodoulos Konsolos, Press Secretary of the Larnaca Police Department, "around 3 am on Monday, March 31, a robbery was committed at a bakery in the Kamares area of Larnaca. Specifically, five people entered the bakery with their faces covered with sweatshirt hoods."
He added that "there was only one woman working at the kiosk, to whom the perpetrators did not speak. The robbers removed the portable part of the cash register, which contained 350 euros, and from the examinations so far, it appears that they escaped in a rental car."
He also noted that "members of the ADE and the Larnaca Police Department conducted examinations at the scene and in the surrounding area and at around 4 a.m. the perpetrators' vehicle was located abandoned in the Mackenzie area."
The case is being investigated by the Larnaca Police Department.
