The difficulties faced by Cypriot students in Volos were shared by the President of the Student Union of Cypriot Students, Stefanos Georgiou, on the Protoselido show.

According to Stefanos Georgiou, "You can imagine how difficult the situation is now without electricity, the water came today, we lack basic raw materials but it is not as difficult bad weather as the previous Daniel".

Subsequently, he stated that "We had contact with the embassy during the first bad weather and then we came to an agreement with POFEN to help us with the examination as well as the financial problems that arose for the students.

We request that a student support allowance of 200-300 euros be given to those students in the affected areas of Karditsa, Larissa and Volos".

In Volos, according to the data that the Cypriot student has in his possession, 150 Cypriot students are registered, while the total number of students is estimated to be 200 people.

Additionally, among their requests is the extension of the examination period and the extension of registration as it was scheduled for September 25.

Finally, according to Stefanos Georgiou, most students live in the center of Volos, which faces some issues but was not flooded. "Luckily, he didn't have anyone hurt or in danger."
