The announcement of the Minister Health

The Ministry of Health announces that today, March 15, 2022:

- 2 deaths were announced

- Relate to:

A 92-year-old man who died on March 13
A 78-year-old man who died on March 15
- Total number of deaths with final cause of the disease COVID-19: 904.

- 108 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYPY hospitals

- 17 in serious condition (ICU: 0 out of ventilator / 6 intubated, MAF: 11)

- Percentage of patients without a history of vaccination: 59,26%

- 21 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be treated intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.

Diagnostic examinations:

- A total of 92.295 diagnostic tests were performed

- 3.294 new cases were identified (total of 360.078 cases).

- Position rate in all exams 3,57%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

- 3.699 molecular tests were performed

- 383 positive incidents occurred

- Position rate 10,35%

Total Rapid Antigen Test (RapidTest):

- 88.596 rapid antigen detection tests were performed

- There were 2.911 positive incidents

- Position rate 3,29%

Tracking:

- 405 molecular tests were performed and 59 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 14,57%)

- 726 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 73 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 10,06%)

Private initiative:

- 1.578 molecular tests were performed, 253 positive cases were identified (percentage of positivity 16,03%)

- 35.004 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1.898 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 5,42%)

53.592 rapid antigen detection tests were performed through the programs of the Ministry of Health. 1.013 positive cases were identified.

- Sampling points: 14.419 rapid detection tests detected 623 positive cases (positivity rate 4,32%)

Education

- Primary Education: 20.062 rapid antigen detection tests, 121 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0,6%)

- Secondary Education: 11.612 rapid detection tests detected 111 positive cases (positivity rate 0,96%)

- Test-to-Stay: 4.432 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 56 positive cases were detected (1,26% positivity rate)

Other

- Nursing homes: 1.264 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 19 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1,5%)

- Closed structures: 151 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 4 new cases were detected (positivity rate 2,65%).

- Government Services: 926 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 6 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0,65%)
