In the context of the investigation of the case of conspiracy to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, harassment, causing grievous bodily harm and assault with real damage involving incidents in the center of Paphos on the night of January 3, 2022 between two groups of people, the police six persons to facilitate investigations.
According to an announcement by the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, four persons aged 17 and 25 were initially detained for eight days and another two aged 20 and 22 after an evaluation of the evidence available to the Police, who are under eight-day detention at the Paphos General Hospital, guarded after their injuries in the incidents.
