The data on the evolution of the vaccination coverage of the population until August 19 were published by the Ministry of Health.
According to the relevant announcement, the vaccination coverage with at least 1 dose per age group is as follows:

In total, until yesterday, at least 1% of the adult population (77,2+) was vaccinated with the first dose. The corresponding percentage of the adult population that completed its vaccination scheme reached 18%.
According to the ECDC, the corresponding rates in the EU are 74,4% (at least 1st dose) and 64,8% (fully vaccinated).
At least the first dose was given to 1% of people aged 33,6-16 years and 17% of this age group completed their vaccination. At younger ages (24,8-12), the first dose was given at 15% from the 1nd of August when the vaccination of these ages began.
Regarding the vaccination coverage per Province, as shown in the attached map, Paphos still holds the fibers with a fairly high percentage of 88% of its population having received at least the first dose. It is followed by the Province of Famagusta with 1% and then the Provinces of Nicosia and Limassol with 85,1% and 76,9% respectively. Finally, the lowest percentage of vaccination coverage has the Province of Larnaca with 75,5%.
From July 15 until yesterday, 29,761 vaccinations (1st and 2nd doses) were performed in the free attendance centers that operate all over Cyprus.

In the last 7 days, a total of 32,667 vaccinations were given in all the Provinces, of which 11,051 concerned the administration of the 1st dose and 21,616 the administration of the 2nd dose. The numbers refer to vaccinations that took place in the walk-in and in the Vaccination Centers after an appointment through the Vaccination Portal. In the coming weeks, 36,666 vaccinations are scheduled by appointment, including the 2nd doses and in addition, regardless of the number of vaccinations that will take place in the free attendance centers.
