To date, there have been a total of 131 reports of suspected adverse reactions to COVID19 vaccines, most of them involving individuals receiving Pfizer.
This was stated by the Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Elena Panagiotopoulou, during a press conference on the vaccination plan.
He noted that the 109 reports of side effects were mild, while the 21 most serious that required hospitalization.
The 72 were people who received the Pfizer vaccine, 56 people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine and 3 people who received the Moderna vaccine.
As of the morning of April 16, he said, 207.000 vaccinations had been given.
Specifically, 128.000 vaccinations were given with the Pfizer vaccine, 65.000 with the AstraZeneca vaccine and 14.000 with the Moderna vaccine.
The appearance of disease or even death does not necessarily mean an association with the vaccine, he said.
