Police arrested a 42-year-old man yesterday, in the context of an investigation into a case involving the acquisition, possession, access to child pornography and the production of pornographic material.
After information was obtained from the Police, examinations were carried out on devices held by the 42-year-old, where video files and photos depicting naked children were found. A search of his home in Limassol turned up a mobile phone and a computer.
The 42-year-old was arrested on a warrant and was remanded in custody to facilitate investigations.
The Office for Combating Cybercrime continues its examinations.
