The mobilization of the Police and citizens for the location of a 9-year-old girl who disappeared from his house last night in Paphos and who, as it turned out, had slept in a neighbor's house, has ended.
According to a police announcement, at 01:30 this morning, a 40-year-old father complained to the Paphos police department that the little girl who lives with him was not at home. The little girl, who was absent since yesterday afternoon, was initially searched for by friends and acquaintances, however, as she mentioned, she had not returned, and then they reported the case of her disappearance to the Paphos police department.
Today at 06:00 in the morning, a neighbor of the 40-year-old went to his house and told him that the little girl was at his house and stayed the night with them. Following an investigation by the Police, the girl's father may be charged by the Police, while the Welfare Office will be notified about the case. The little girl's neighbors, however, claim that they had told the 9-year-old's father that he would stay with them at night.
The examinations are continued by the Paphos police department.
