Holding a shovel in his hands and cursing, he located 84-year-old Syros in the area of Geroskipou, the Police in Paphos.
Police received a phone call yesterday about a man who was causing concern in the area on Sunday afternoon (17/01).
Members of the Police rushed to the area where they found the 84-year-old holding a shovel and cursing locals. In an attempt to take the sharp object, the police officers were attacked by him after he pushed and insulted them.
The 84-year-old was arrested on charges of possession of an aggressive instrument, assault, incitement to intoxication, intoxication and insult and was taken into custody.
