A 39-year-old man from Estonia allegedly posted nude photos of his ex-partner at bus stops, in order, as a woman claimed, to take revenge on her for gaining custody of their daughter. According to a publication of "Phileleftheros", the incident took place in Limassol and the man is currently being held in the Central Prison where he will remain until the beginning of his trial.
The 39-year-old was arrested last week for a case of distributing pornographic material and was brought before the Limassol District Court yesterday, which registered a case against him, accused of crimes related to the distribution of pornographic material and domestic violence.
The Police, according to "F", requested his detention until the beginning of the trial, with the Court accepting the request and ordering the detention of the 39-year-old until January 25, the day of the beginning of the trial, where he will be called to answer categories.
The case was reported by the 36-year-old ex-partner of the accused around mid-December 2021 when she herself was informed by a friend that there was a nude photo of her hanging and stuck at a bus stop in the area of Germasogeia. In her testimony, the woman also stated that she was informed by another friend that there was a second nude photo of her, stuck in another bus stop near her house.
The 36-year-old in her complaint said that the photos were taken by the 39-year-old with whom she had a relationship, lived together and had a daughter, claiming that the accused did this because she recently managed to gain custody of their daughter.
