Based on the Decree that will be referred to as the Infection (Definition of Measures to prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19Decree (No. 16) of 2020, in any company and / or in the public and / or wider public sector and / or in the Independent Services and / or in the Local Government Authorities, a case of coronavirus infection is detected (COVID-19), within 24 hours, for public health purposes, the Ministry of Health shall announce the relevant details, including the name and address of the undertaking and / or the public and / or wider public sector service and / or the Independent Service and / or the Local Government Authority.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health, after receiving relevant information from the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, wishes to inform the public about the following cases related to the detection of cases according to the results of laboratory tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus received on 16 / 8/2020:
PASYDY Nicosia Kindergarten (next to the Ministry of Finance)
The addresses of both the kindergarten and PASYDY were informed yesterday by the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit for the detection of a case in the above premises and actions were taken to remove the person who was found positive for the virus and the persons who were declared as close contacts. At the same time, the necessary actions are taken to disinfect the space.
