The Ministry of Health announced the location of cases in five clinics on Friday morning.
Following the relevant information from the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, the Ministry of Health informs the public that according to the results of laboratory tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus received on 18-22 / 10/2020, positive cases were detected in the following clinics:
- German Oncology Center, Limassol
- Aretaio Private Hospital, Nicosia
- Mediterranean Hospital, Limassol
- Polyclinic Health, Limassol
- American Medical Center, Nicosia
The addresses of the above establishments were informed by the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit for the detection of cases at their premises and actions were taken to remove those who were positive for the virus, as well as those who were declared as close contacts. At the same time, instructions were given for disinfection of the premises according to the protocol.
In addition to the clinics, the ministry announced the detection of cases in banks, hotels and other businesses.
