The Deputy Director of Medical Services, Olga Kalakouta, spoke about the vaccination program in Cyprus and how it is progressing on SIGMA's show "Mesimeri kai Kati".
As he mentioned, until last night the total number of people who were vaccinated with the first dose reached 307,698, while 71.000 have completed their vaccination.
He noted that the vaccination program is moving fast and the intention of the Ministry of Health is to carry out around 14.000 vaccinations per day.
At the same time, he stressed, the vaccinations will start by the Personal Doctors, whose interest exceeded all expectations.
The problem that has been observed so far, he noted, is the fact that many are either ill or in contact, and need to cancel their appointment.
Regarding when the Vaccination Portal will be opened for the ages 30-32, Mrs. Kalakuta said he is expected next week.
