According to OKYPY spokesman Charalambos Charilaou, the counting of deaths of our fellow citizens who were found in the Intensive Care Units and died of covid19, with most of them unvaccinated, gives a resounding message.
Speaking on state radio, Mr. Charilaou said that, for the month of August until 27/08, 78 deaths of our fellow citizens were recorded, of which 15 were people under 60 years old.
"During the months of June, July and until August 26, 56 deaths were recorded in the Intensive Care Units, of which six, ie 10.7%, were vaccinated. "Of those, 15 were under the age of 60 without a history of vaccination," he said.
Mr. Charilaou explained that "in the ICU in June, 10 deaths were recorded, none of which were vaccinated. "In July, 16 deaths of our fellow citizens were recorded, of which three were vaccinated, and in August, 30 deaths of our fellow citizens were recorded, of which three were also vaccinated."
"The data give us a strong message that the vast majority who were either admitted to wards or ICUs and have ended up were unvaccinated," he said.
