Police conducted 1.856 checks in the last 24 hours, which resulted in complaints against 3 managers and 12 citizens for violating measures against covid.

A spokesman for the Police Press Office told KYPE that in Nicosia 501 inspections were carried out without any complaint and in Limassol 172 inspections during which 2 heads of premises and 6 citizens were reported.

At Larnaca in 433 checks a citizen was reported to Famagusta 335 inspections resulted in complaints against three citizens. In Paphos 85 checks were carried out and two citizens were reported to Morphou in 207 inspections a premises manager was reported.

This is a bank against which a fine of 1.500 euros was issued because there was no safepass check.

At Limassol A fine of 1.500 euros was issued against a supermarket because there was no safepass check. Also in the oven a fine of the same amount was issued again for non-safepass checks.

H Traffic police carried out 123 inspections without complaint.

The majority of citizens complained because they did not wear a protective mask.
