A fire broke out at 13:16 in the community of Musere in dry grass and wild vegetation.
According to a post on twitter by the Spokesperson of the Fire Service, Andrea Ketti, five fire trucks from the Paphos and Limassol Districts responded to the fire.
A leased helicopter and two Forest Department aircraft were also activated, while five other Forest Department firefighting vehicles also responded.
The causes of the fire will be investigated at a later stage and after its complete extinction.
