The Police in Paphos proceeded with the arrest of a 46-year-old woman in order to facilitate investigations for an investigated case of theft.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations Michalis Nikolaou, yesterday Thursday around 14:00 it was reported by the owner of a bakery company in the area of the Polis Chrysochous apartment that it was found that a 46-year-old female employee was stealing from the receipts as well as the company's products during the time of work her.
From the tests carried out, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, it was established that between January 15 and May 14, 2024, on twelve different occasions, the 46-year-old suspect had withdrawn 87 euros from the cash register as well as products with a total value of 56 euros.
The 46-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant and taken into custody.
