The Police in Paphos proceeded to arrest a 32-year-old woman to facilitate investigations into a case of theft.

According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, on June 17, a 33-year-old woman, who is a store manager, reported that the previous day around 19:30 p.m., the alarm system sounded, while a 32-year-old employee of the store was working.

The employee was stopped by a security guard and inside her bag were found two pieces of clothing new from the store worth approximately 53 euros, which the employee seems to have taken without paying the corresponding value.

Further inside the closet staff were found four more pieces of new clothes which she seems to have taken without paying for them. The findings have been received as evidence. She was arrested on Monday on a warrant and taken into custody.
