Paphos Police are investigating a case of illegal possession of explosives and illegal possession of property with the arrest of a 33-year-old to facilitate the investigations, while a 26-year-old is also wanted.
According to the Paphos Assistant Police Director and Spokesman of the Paphos Police Directorate, Michalis Ioannou, yesterday a search was carried out at a house in the Universal area which belongs to a 33-year-old and five full shotgun cartridges were found, eight other 64 mm cartridges and one. The 33-year-old was arrested for the self-inflicted offenses of illegal possession of explosives, illegal possession of property, specifically a motorcycle, and was taken to the Offices of TAE Paphos.
Interrogated later stated that all the items found in the house where she lives, were not hers but belong to her 26-year-old partner.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 26-year-old, he was wanted, has not been located so far and is wanted. The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police.
