Semi-willing minors on sidewalks, ambulances and images of insanity. All this at a teen party in the Germasogeia area where a Halloween party took place last Friday.
SigmaLive received the complaint from a father whose child was invited to the party. This complaint even makes reports of substance and alcohol use by minors.
Due to the reckless use of substances, ambulances even had to be called to the scene. Competent sources we spoke with confirmed that ambulances were called and arrived on the scene to provide assistance and transport young people to the Limassol Hospital.
In the complaint received by SigmaLive, it was pointed out to us that the Police were notified, but there was no response from the members of the Force.
Photographic material has been sent to SigmaLive which confirms several of the allegations. It is noted that for obvious reasons, although we have visual material, we will not publish it.
The complaint comes a few days after the conviction of the Larnaca Court regarding the unfortunate death of Panagiotis Stefanis, the 16-year-old who died in April 2019 at the age of 16 after consuming a large amount of alcohol. Three young people were found guilty in this case.
A newer update received by SigmaLive immediately after the publication of the issue, states that the Police arrived at the party site and at the moment the case is under investigation. In particular, the Police received a call at 00.40 and members of the Germasogeia station arrived at the scene. By the time he arrived, the police did not find anyone in the area other than the owner of the house and his daughter, who organized the party. A search of the home turned up no alcohol or other substances.
Members of the Force, however, also went to the Limassol General Hospital where they found 5 minors who were receiving First Aid, in the presence of their parents. According to SigmaLive, in the coming days, the Police will receive testimonies from the minors in order to find out what exactly happened in the early hours of October 30th.
