A case of injury to a 31-year-old man from Nigeria is being investigated by the TAE of Larnaca.
According to the Police, around 19.20:1 on the evening of Wednesday, January XNUMXst, information was given to the Larnaca Police Department about an injured person outside a taxi office.
An ambulance was called to the scene and took the injured to the Larnaca General Hospital before the arrival of the Police.
Members of the ADE Larnaca went to the Hospital where they found the injured, aged 31, from Nigeria, who suffered a transverse laceration at the base of the little finger and a 6 cm laceration on the hand.
The doctors of the Hospital proceeded to stitch up the wound and after placing a splint on his left little finger, he was subsequently discharged.
The injured person reported to the Police that around 18.45 while he was in an abandoned apartment in Oroklini, where he sometimes lives with his partner, nine of his compatriots, whose details he does not know, entered the apartment and after beating him in various parts of the body of him, they injured him with a sharp object.
Then, according to what the 31-year-old reported to the Police, his compatriots took him by force and put him in one of the two vehicles they had and headed towards Larnaca.
He also stated that at some point along the way he managed to escape from them and ran to the taxi office asking for help.
