A 27-year-old man in Larnaca filed a complaint with the Police claiming that he was attacked with a knife by a 24-year-old man.
According to the Police, at around 1:35 pm on Wednesday, information was received about an injured person in Larnaca.
Members of the Police rushed to the scene, where they found a 27-year-old foreigner with a knife wound on the palm of his hand.
According to the complainant, he had previously argued with a 24-year-old, also a foreigner, who attacked him with a knife while pointing a pistol at him to threaten him.
About twenty minutes later, the police spotted the 24-year-old on foot and stopped him. During the physical search conducted on him, a folding knife and a metal gun replica were found in his possession.
After this development, the 24-year-old was arrested and taken into custody.
