Following an assessment of information, members of the Anti-Narcotics Service (ANS) yesterday afternoon arrested two young men, aged 18 and 19, in Larnaca.
The two suspects were located outside a warehouse in an apartment building in Larnaca and, in view of the police, tried to escape by pushing the members of the YKAN, but were unable to do so.
During their arrest, a bag containing a quantity of cannabis weighing approximately 18 grams, methamphetamine weighing 819 grams, as well as a sum of money, fell to the ground from a bag in the possession of the 39-year-old.
With their written consent, a search was conducted in the warehouse in question, where 24 grams of cannabis plant material, three grams of cocaine and a precision scale were found.
The two suspects were taken into custody, while the case is being investigated by the Larnaca Police Department.
