Seven people were injured in a road collision that occurred late yesterday afternoon in Limassol.
The road collision happened at around 7.40 in the afternoon, when a car driven by a 74-year-old woman, with a 78-year-old passenger, on Spyrou Kyprianou Street in Limassol, under circumstances that are being investigated, collided with a car, driven by a 66-year-old man, with a 62-year-old passenger, with passengers 28-year-old and two minor boys aged four and three.
The collision injured all the occupants of the two vehicles, who were taken by ambulance to the Limassol General Hospital and a private hospital.
The 74-year-old and the 78-year-old were detained for treatment at the Limassol General Hospital, while the 62-year-old was transferred to the Nicosia General Hospital for further treatment.
The four-year-old boy was first taken to a private hospital and then intubated and transferred to Makarios Hospital for further treatment.
For preventive reasons, the three-year-old boy remained hospitalized, while the 66-year-old and the 28-year-old, after receiving first aid, were discharged.
The Limassol Traffic Police continues the examinations.
