The Ministry of the Interior announces that in the upcoming presidential election, on February 5, 2023, and in a possible repeat election on February 12, 2023, polling centers will operate abroad, for voters who are already registered in the electoral roll or will be registered by December 27, 2022 .

In order to enable the operation of polling centers abroad, a special electoral roll is drawn up, in which the details of registered voters are transferred from the permanent electoral roll of Cyprus, following a relevant declaration submitted by the interested parties.

It is noted that polling centers abroad, according to the Legislation, can only operate in those cities where the number of voters who will submit a declaration exceeds fifty (50).

For this purpose, special declaration forms have been prepared, which the holders of electoral registers, who wish to exercise their right to vote abroad, are invited to fill them in properly and submit them in time, no later than December 27, 2022.

Declaration forms can be obtained from the Embassies/Consulates of the Republic abroad, the local Offices of the Provincial Administrations, from the Citizen Service Centers and Citizen Centers (Cyprus Post Offices), from the Elections Service, at the Ministry of the Interior, as well as electronically from the elections website at elections.gov.cy.

Statements can be submitted in paper form at the above locations, as well as online at aps.elections.moi.gov.cy.
