With reforms and announced projects on the agenda, the Ministerial is meeting today

The Council of Ministers is meeting today at the Presidential Palace on the issue of the implementation of the reforms, as well as projects and policies that were either announced by the President of the Republic or are included in the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, on the agenda.

According to an announcement issued yesterday by the Presidency of the Republic, the meeting will also review the projects included in the program of registration of development projects EXANTAS, through which citizens are informed at all times about the progress of projects.

The reforms, which are a demand of the citizens, are part of the governance program and every effort should be made to accelerate them, it is expected that President Anastasiadis will remind the members of the Ministry, the announcement states.

Reforms are a top challenge for the country to keep pace with the demands of the modern era, it is noted.

Cyprus through the reforms included in the "Cyprus - Tomorrow" Recovery and Sustainability Plan will raise 1,2 billion Euros from the European Recovery Fund by 2026.

The National Plan "Cyprus - Tomorrow", in its complete form, the announcement concludes, includes a total of 58 reforms and 76 development investments, which are the largest reform and development intervention since the establishment of the Republic of Cyprus.
