Today the weather will initially be mainly clear, to gradually become mainly cloudy with high clouds, while locally increased clouds at noon and in the afternoon, likely to give isolated rain, mainly in the west and in the mountains. The winds will initially blow variable weak 3 Beaufort to gradually become, mainly southwesterly, weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will rise to around 15 degrees inland, around 17 on the coast and around 6 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be mainly cloudy and rain and isolated storms are expected. In a storm, hail is not ruled out, while on the higher peaks of Troodos there will be sleet and possible snow. The winds will blow mainly southwesterly, initially weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and on the coast up to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. Later on the coast there will be temporary very strong 6 Beaufort winds. The sea will initially be a little rough to become rough later. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees inland, around 12 on the coast and to 3 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, local rains and isolated storms are expected, while on the highest peaks of Troodos it is possible that snow or sleet will fall. On Thursday, isolated rains are expected, while on Friday the weather will be mainly clear.
The temperature will not change significantly until Thursday, remaining close to average climatic values, while it is expected to drop on Friday.
