A protest march with tankers will be held next Tuesday, June 27, by the gas station owners, whose businesses are being destroyed, as they note, due to the flow to the occupied territories for fuel supply.
Speaking to Radio Proto, the representative of the gas station owners, Christodoulos Christodoulou, said that they will initially head to the Agios Dometios roadblock and later go to the Presidential Palace.
In the protest, which will begin at 11:00 in the morning, tankers from all over Cyprus will gather, as he said.
"We don't have it with the world. We want compensation and help from the Government. We can't stand it any longer", said Mr. Christodoulou.
The problem is located mainly in Nicosia and in the free area of Famagusta, as he said, while he spoke of smuggling and unfair competition from colleagues.
"Even contractors get bids from the public and put fuel from the occupied properties," he stressed.
