Members of the Traffic Headquarters, during traffic checks, stopped last night on the Limassol - Nicosia highway, a car driven by a 20-year-old and was moving at a speed of 187 kilometers instead of 100.
The driver was arrested for a self-inflicted crime and then taken to a police station, where he underwent an alcohol test marked 59μg instead of 9μg.
The 20-year-old was released after being charged in writing, while today he is expected to appear before the District Court of Nicosia.
