In a serious road collision that happened around 5.40 yesterday afternoon on a parallel road to the highway near Larnaca airport under circumstances that are being investigated by the Police, two cars collided head-on.
One car was driven by a 58-year-old man from the province of Larnaca, while the second car was driven by a 24-year-old woman with a 19-year-old passenger, both from the province of Larnaca.
The three occupants of the cars were taken by ambulance to the Larnaca General Hospital and then, due to the severity of their injuries, they were taken to the Nicosia General Hospital.
In particular, the 24-year-old is hospitalized with intubation, the 19-year-old has a fractured vertebra, while the 58-year-old is hospitalized with multiple injuries. According to the treating doctors, their condition is considered serious.
The Kiti Police Station is continuing the examinations.
