Stop the recitation of personal data in centers where rapid tests are performed for covid, says the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection Irini Loizidou Nikolaidou.

An announcement states that it has been repeatedly found that, in some rapid test centers, people working there recite personal data of the persons who underwent the test, at the time of receiving their result.

"This practice entails risks for the affected persons and violates the provisions of the General Regulation of Data Protection. Therefore, and because I believe that some self-evident practices should be followed voluntarily and not because a sanction may be imposed, I warn the administrators of the centers to stop this practice, for the protection of the citizens ", says the Commissioner
