A new yellow warning was issued by the Department of Meteorology. The warning will come into force at 11:00am on Monday 22/07 and will be in effect until 17:00pm.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear, although locally increased clouds will be observed at times. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the afternoon on the windward to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough on the eastern coasts, but a little rough on the rest of the coasts. The temperature will rise to 42 degrees in the interior, to 34 on the western coasts, around 38 on the rest of the coasts and to 32 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. Locally, during the morning hours, thin fog or fog and low clouds are expected to form. Winds will initially be mainly south-west to north-west, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort to later become mainly variable light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become somewhat rough. The temperature will drop to 27 degrees in the interior, to 24 on the western coast, around 26 on the rest of the coast and to 22 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be locally increased cloudiness at times.
The temperature on Tuesday is not expected to change significantly and will remain significantly above the average climatic values, while on Wednesday and Thursday it will gradually drop slightly.
