We take to the streets again and demonstrate.
The violent repression and police barbarism that we faced on February 13 by the Anastasiadis government fully justifies the reasons why we went out and took to the streets again.
So on Saturday in the streets again to shout:
AS DAME with the state authoritarianism and the silencing of the opposite point of view
AS DAME with the failed management of the pandemic
AS DAME with corruption
The 13th of February clearly showed that the last thing the authorities are interested in is public health. The attempted terror will not pass. On Saturday we take to the streets again and demand:
Investments in public health and education, not police & armaments.
End pandemic management in terms of repression, while ensuring the protection of vulnerable groups
Immediate support measures for workers and the unemployed, locals, migrants and asylum seekers affected by the pandemic.
End to the war against culture and amateur sports.
End to the ban on demonstrations.
An end to the police violence and the immediate withdrawal of the deadly aura of water with the imaginative name Aiantas from our streets.
Immediate withdrawal of charges for the 11 arrested on February 13th
We will resist the plunder of social wealth and the environment. We will resist authoritarianism and capitalist barbarism. We will open roads where they do not exist.
Neither the glops, nor the pepper sprays, nor the Aiants will stop us. We call on the Police to refrain from our mobilization, having proved that it poses a danger to public health. The demonstration will be peaceful and will be guarded. We are confident that we can protect our course, regulate circulation and adhere to health protocols better than the body has shown it can do.
The policeman who kicks a protester in the neck while he is immobilized on the ground and the direct shot of compressed water by Aiantas to a girl who committed the "crime" dancing on the sidewalk, is the real face of the Anastasiadis government and the "justice" of Giolitis .

We emphasize again that our mobilizations have a clear anti-fascist and class character and therefore nationalist and religious symbols and slogans are not welcome.
