Three people, an 18-year-old man and two minors, were arrested to facilitate police inquiries in relation to an ongoing case of affray, disturbance, breach of peace and possession of an offensive instrument.
KYPE information from the Police state that at 18.40:23 p.m. on Wednesday, October XNUMX, information was received about a fight between young people of Arab origin on Athens Avenue (Finikoudes).
Members of the Larnaca Police Department, who were in the area, went to the scene, where they identified three young men from Syria against whom testimony was obtained and arrest warrants were issued.
It is about an 18-year-old man, who was injured in the face from the fight, and two minors, who have abrasions on their scalps.
The two minors reported to the Police that the reason for the fight was that they fought with the 18-year-old over a girl. For his part, the 18-year-old said that he saw the two minors stealing from the beach, he took videos and photos of them and when they noticed him, they attacked him.
An iron fist was found in their possession, while it appears that the 18-year-old hit them with a stick.
The three arrested are expected to appear before the Larnaca District Court today for the issuance of a detention order.
The case is being investigated by the Larnaca Department of Minor Offenses.
