A car accident involving four vehicles, which took place on Sunday August 11, in Limassol, turned fatal.
A week after the traffic accident, an 83-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries while being treated at the Limassol General Hospital.
According to the Police, the victim of the fatal accident is 83-year-old Androula Neophytou, from Limassol, who ended up on Sunday afternoon, despite the great battle she fought for a week, to keep herself alive.
The traffic accident occurred at noon on Sunday, August 11, when, under circumstances that are being investigated, four vehicles collided at the intersection of Agia Fylaxeos and Spyros Kyprianou avenues, in Limassol.
From the traffic accident, four people were injured, among them the unfortunate 83-year-old woman, who was transferred to the Limassol General Hospital.
The rest of the injured from the traffic accident did not suffer serious injuries.
