The industrial accident that occurred this morning, in an industrial area in Larnaca, turned fatal, with a 56-year-old Greek Cypriot victim.
According to the Senior Officer of the Labor Inspection Department, Evangelia Tsoulofta, the fatal accident occurred in a glass manufacturing and installation factory, when the 57-year-old worker, while moving a glass, was hit by a glass plate, resulting in fatal injuries.
The unfortunate 57-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Larnaca General Hospital, where doctors on duty pronounced him dead.
Police are continuing their investigation.
