The round of Cyprus to support Oncology will be done by a Cypriot cyclist

From the square in the port of Ayia Napa on Saturday afternoon, September 23, at 18:30 p.m., the charity trek of Alexandros Agrotis will start, who will attempt to cycle around Cyprus again in less than 24 hours – traveling over 600 kilometers - in order to support the Oncology Center of the Bank of Cyprus.

As stated in a press release, the Cypriot athlete will head from Ayia Napa to Larnaca where he will arrive at 19:30 and then he will head to Paphos where he is expected at 01:00 am on Sunday (24/09) and Polis Chrysochous (03 :30am).

The course of the 25-year-old cyclist will continue on Sunday morning (24/09) from the occupied territories of Morphou (07:30am), Kyrenia (10:00am) and Rizokarpasos (14:00pm). Around 17:00 on Sunday it is estimated to pass through the Deryneia roadblock, before reaching the finish around 18:00 in Ayia Napa. In total, he will cover a distance of 627 km cycling non-stop for 24 hours. Last year's attempt by Alexandros Agrotis was completed in 23 hours and 17 minutes.
