The Municipality of Poleos Chrysochous will proceed with a sampling to find a compatible bone marrow donor for little Loukas Stavrou next Sunday.
According to a relevant announcement, the Municipality of Poleos Chrysochous Lucas is 8 years old and is fighting for the second time with leukemia. A compatible bone marrow donor is needed immediately for a transplant.
The procedure, added in the announcement, is easy, fast and painless and is done by taking a mouthwash. Donors can be people aged 18-45, without medical problems.
The sampling, the announcement continues, will take place on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Sampling Center of Christos Chrysanthos, between the hours of 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Municipality of Poleos Chrysochous expressed the certainty that the citizens will respond to the call of the Municipality by dedicating a few minutes of their time.
