A 90-year-old woman who was injured in a road collision that occurred yesterday in Larnaca is being treated in serious condition at Larnaca General Hospital.
Specifically, at around 8 a.m. yesterday, on Papanikoli Avenue in Larnaca, a car driven by an 80-year-old man, under circumstances that are being investigated, ran over and injured a 90-year-old woman, who was attempting to cross the street on foot.
The injured woman was transferred to Larnaca General Hospital, where it was determined that she suffered a hematoma and a brain contusion, while she also has bruises and fractures to her head and other parts of her body. She was kept for hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital, while her health condition is considered serious.
The causes of the collision are being investigated by the Larnaca Traffic Police Department.
