In critical condition, at the General Hospital of Nicosia, a 32-year-old man is being treated, after a collision of his motorcycle, with a vehicle he was driving 19 years old, in Limassol. His 20-year-old passenger is being treated at the Limassol General Hospital with a broken leg.
The accident occurred at 22:30 on Monday night and according to the Police, the motorcycle collided with the vehicle of the 19-year-old student when she tried to turn right at the junction of Miltonos and Antipaxou streets.
The two occupants of the motorcycle were injured in the collision and were transported by ambulance to the Limassol General Hospital, where the 32-year-old was found to have suffered a craniocerebral injury, subdural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, pneumothorax and. Due to the criticality of his condition, he was transferred to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where he is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
The 20-year-old passenger suffered a broken leg and was detained for treatment at the Limassol General Hospital, while the driver of the car, who was not injured, underwent a breathalyzer test with zero indication and was kept in the First Aid as he suffered a shock.
Examinations revealed that the two occupants of the motorcycle were wearing protective helmets.
The Limassol Traffic Police continues the examinations.
