The Ministry of Health informs the citizens that according to the new revised protocol for the release of cases in the community, which was drafted in collaboration with the Scientific Advisory Committee, are appointed as responsible for the management of patients diagnosed positive with a sampling date of November 20, 2020 and Personal Doctors for adults and children.
The Personal Physician, who will be informed immediately and at the same time with the patient about the positive laboratory result, will monitor his patients who are positive with the new coronavirus until their release, so it is important that patients contact themselves directly with their Personal Doctor. The Infectious Diseases Epidemiological Surveillance and Control Unit will continue to have the coordinating and supervisory role of the whole process.
The monitoring and release of those citizens who were diagnosed as positive and are not registered with a Personal Physician will continue to be done by the Unit of Epidemiological Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases.
