Ormedia: They broke into the oven and stole a charity donation box

Two persons were arrested

The arrest of 2 Greek Cypriots aged 21 and 23 respectively, yesterday 12/11/2024 by members of the Xylotympos Police Station regarding the investigated offenses of theft and conspiracy to commit a felony, offenses which were committed on 06/11/2024 in Ormidia.

Specifically, on 06/11/2024 it was reported to the Xylotympo Police Station, by the owner of a bakery in Ormidia, that two persons, after entering the bakery, stole a donation box of a charitable institution which contained, according to the complainant, the amount of 200-300 euros.

After evaluation and information gathering, the members of the Xylotympos Police Station secured testimony that the 21-year-old and 23-year-old were involved in the case, who were arrested on 12/11/2024 pursuant to judicial arrest warrants.

When the two persons were interrogated, they admitted the commission of the above offenses and were subsequently accused in writing to be summoned later before the Court.

Xylotympo Police Station is investigating.
