The president of the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Center Owners Associations (OSIKA) Neophytos Thrasyvoulou demands the immediate inclusion of catering employees in vaccination programs.

In his statements to KYPE, Mr. Thrasyvoulou said that the employees working in the restaurants should be vaccinated immediately, in order to exclude the last possibility that the restaurants and the staff working in these places transmit the virus to the guests. and visitors.

In addition, Mr. Thrasyvoulou stated that the changes in the weather conditions will favor the reopening of the catering centers on a nationwide scale, mainly on weekends with the increase of traffic. We hope, he said, that in the coming days there will be a reduction in cases, while he expressed his concern about what will happen on Easter. It is clear, he continued, that catering companies do not have many survival options, stating that they should consider how they can be supported to survive or at least with guaranteed loans to be able to take a breath, he added.

Mr. Thrasyvoulou stated that this weekend there are more companies that will operate, in the mountains the temperatures are changing, so he estimated that the hinterland will also operate.

He also recommended attention to the members of OSIKA in order to observe all the protection measures and to apply literally the health protocol for the good of themselves and of the visitors.
