Vassilis Palmas resigned from the position of Deputy Minister to the President, in a letter to the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis.
As he notes in the resignation letter, "with this letter, I submit to you my resignation, effective from February 2, 2022, from the position of Deputy Minister to the President".
He adds that "the reasons that led me to this decision are purely personal."
At the same time, Mr. Palmas thanked the President, stating "I would like to take this opportunity to express my warm thanks to you for the honor you have given me in electing and appointing me to both of your terms as Deputy Minister, in addition to the President. as well as for the trust you have shown in me throughout the exercise of my duties, including me among your closest associates ".
